A two-day seminar-training "Fundamentals of conflict management" was held on 27-28.02.2016 in Kurmanzhan-Datka secondary school of Kara-Suu region with the participation of specialists, psychologists and club executives working on the project "The introduction of a combination of traditional and modern approaches to prevent conflict in the south of Kyrgyzstan" which is being implemented by the Women Public Union “Erayim” with the support of the International German organization "Bread for the World".

A chess tournament was held in Kurmanjan Datka high school No86 between members of the children’s self-help groups in Mady Village, Kara-Suu region of Osh province. The tournament was organised by Alimahan Narzhigitova – the head of the chess club, as part of the project: “The introduction to traditional and modern approaches to conflict solution in south Kyrgyzstan.” Twenty students from the self-help groups “Tumar,” “Doolot,” “Yntymak,” “Jakshylyk” and “Oomat” participated in the tournament. It was held to strengthen the friendship between children of different ethnic origins through challenging and interesting games, such as chess. The 1st place was won by Anarbay kyzy Orozgul, 2nd place was won by Zamirbek kyzy Jasmina and the 3rd place by Kylychbek kyzy Diana. All the winners were awarded prizes. In addition, the students Turdubay uulu Nurian and Arzybek uulu Beksultan who also participated in the tournament were awarded prizes as a form of incentive. From now on, these completions will be held on a regular basis said Public Relations and Media Expert, Erlanbek Davlatov.

- Mr. Arstanbek, we would like to know your views on the activities of the women public union "Erayim" with whom your village district has been cooperating for many years.

For the past 4 years, we have been working closely with the women's public union (WPU) "Erayim", its head, Rakhila Zhusupova, and the coordinator of the Osh region, Narynkul Duyshenalieva. To be honest, we are approached by many international organizations who have helped us to implement a wide variety of projects in the village. These are helping to resolve many of our most pressing problems.
