Within the framework of the project ‘The Introduction of a Combination of Traditional and Modern Approaches to Prevent Conflict in the South of Kyrgyzstan’ which is being realized by the Women’s Public Union Erayim and financed by international organization ‘Bread for the World (Brot für die Welt) an action entitled ‘Peace Action’ was organized by the children self-help groups formed in the secondary school of Toktogul Satylganov in Bazar-Korgon district.

On September 30, 2017, an event entitled ‘Teacher is the Source of Creativity’ was organized in Osh Education Institute which was dedicated to the year 2017 which is the year of morality, upbringing and culture. The event also aimed at raising the culture of the population of Osh province, revive its history, support creative people, folk artists, songwriters and performers among teachers.

Children self-help groups organize various mass cultural events.

Within the framework of the project ‘The Introduction of a Combination of Traditional and Modern Approaches to Prevent Conflict in the South of Kyrgyzstan’ which is being realized by the Women’s Public Union Erayim, an event was held dedicated to the Day of the State Language. It was organized by members of the leadership club in secondary schools № 16 named after Abu Ali ibn Sin, № 86 named after Kurmanzhan Datka and № 117 named after K. Matkerimov in Shark, Mady and Kyzyl-Kyshtak rural districts of the Kara-Suu region in Osh province. Members of children self-help groups of the above-mentioned schools were the participants of this event.

Within the framework of the project ‘The Introduction of a Combination of Traditional and Modern Approaches to Prevent Conflict in the South of Kyrgyzstan’ which is being realized by the Women’s Public Union Erayim and financed by international organization Bread for the World (Brot für die Welt) a children self-help group called ‘Navbahar’ was formed from 7 children living on the street named ‘Navbahar’ with similar life problems. This CSHG was formed by WPU Erayim in March 2014.

The regional library in Osh city hosted the third stage of the training process of local trainers in the realization of the component ‘To Build Capacities of SHGs Members’ of the WPU Erayim’s ‘The Introduction of a Combination of Traditional and Modern Approaches to Prevent Conflict in the South of Kyrgyzstan’ project, financed by the international German organization Bread for the World (Brot für die Welt). Local project coordinators of Osh and Jalal-Abad provinces, coordinators of adult and children self-help groups, maternal school coordinators, public relations specialists and trainers attended this event.
