Summer has come and people prefer a cool place with clean air and beautiful nature during these hot days.

In this regard, in July of this year activists of WPU Erayim in Osh province organized a pleasant and active holiday for the members of children self-help groups within the framework of the ‘The Introduction of a Combination of Traditional and Modern Approaches to Prevent Conflict in the South of Kyrgyzstan’ project. They gave an opportunity to relax in amazing jailoo ‘Salkyn-Tor’, surrounded by high ridges and beautiful nature. Sixty children were recruited among the most active members of the CSHGs ‘Balazhan’, ‘Buchur’, ‘Tumar’, ‘Kelechek’, ‘Oomat’, ‘Zhyldyz’, ‘Yeniq’, ‘Dostuk’, ‘Ak-Niet’, ‘Kyrgyzstan’ of Mady, Shark and Kyzyl-Kyshtak rural districts in Kara-Suu district. Employees of the organization accompanied them and were responsible for their safety.

Children spent the summer holidays perfectly thanks to the active SHG members of these regions. They called this trip ‘Summer Vacation of Friendly Members of the CSHG-2017’. The CSHG members from 3 regions who came to the jailoo became close friends with each other. We organized an excursion to see beautiful places. In order to remember this wonderful time in the future and have a long-lasting impression they organized and played various games like ‘Sarmerden’ where songs and dances are performed and games calling for friendship and unity such as ‘Shakek Salmai’, ‘Top Tash’, ‘Zholuk Tashtamai’, ‘Arkan Tartmay’, ‘Altyn Top’. All of these were unforgettable for children. "They made many friends here, set many tasks for themselves, raised new initiatives and defined new directions," noted the project coordinator in Osh province Ikram Israilov, and the CSHG coordinator Kiyal Mamazhanova.
