Women’s public union "Erayim" started to implement the project "School Radio of friendship" with the support of the State Agency for Local Self-Governance and Inter-Ethnic Relations of the Kyrgyz Republic.

The beneficiaries of the project are students of secondary schools of Bazar-Korgon district of Jalal-Abad region such as secondary school named after Joomart Bokonbaev, secondary school № 30 named after H. Atabekov and secondary school №7 in Jalal-Abad town, secondary school named after K. Matkerimova and Abu Ali Ibn Sina in Kara-Suu district of Osh region. It has already launched the first steps towards the implementation of the project, and currently they are working on casting elections of announcers on the radio and their preparation for their public job. For this purpose, special experienced journalists conduct lessons on the radio and the history of its discovery, the creation of radio programs, how to prepare the radio programs. According to the coordinator of the project, Altynai Sabyrbekova further training of students, the project "School Radio of Friendship" will not be limited to 10 days. They will always hold special lessons, and will supervise the students to prepare materials. At the end of the project, radio broadcasting equipments installed at schools must further on to continue their work at school. Therefore, the relationship of pupils with us must never stop and it will stay as a good deal activity in rural schools. We hope that the launch of broadcasting in schools will be already in March, she says.
