WPU Erayim organizes various training courses to increase the potential of its employees.

On February 12-16 this year a 16-hour training course was held on the theme 'First Aid' within the framework of the project ‘The Introduction of a Combination of Traditional and Modern Approaches to Prevent Conflict in the South of Kyrgyzstan’ has been implementing with the support of the German international organization Bread for the World (Brot für die Welt).

The training was attended by 17 employees of the WPU Erayim from Osh and Jalal-Abad oblasts. The course was conducted by experienced trainers of the Representative Office of the Red Crescent Society of the Kyrgyz Republic in the Osh and Jalal-Abad oblasts.

The main purpose of the training - to teach employees to provide emergency aid to reduce the level of death and injury in emergency situations, as well as providing the possibility to operate with confidence in order to preserve and protect life under everyday conditions. Participants were given theoretical knowledge of first aid in emergency situations. During the training, the theoretical knowledge gained was supported by practical actions using high-quality dummies.

- “Mastering the basics of first aid is especially necessary for our field of work if, during work a state of emergency is created, each employee must be able to provide first aid correctly,” added Osh Oblast Project Coordinator Ikram Israilov.

At the end of the training, each participant received certificates confirming successful completion of the course on First Aid.
