In such a fertile autumn, the Golden Autumn festival is celebrated everywhere. Maternal schools created and working within the framework of the WPU Erayim’s project ‘The Introduction of a Combination of Traditional and Modern Approaches to Prevent Conflict in the South of Kyrgyzstan’ of rural districts Akman and Bazar-Korgon of Bazar-Korgon district did not stand aside.

The project coordinator for the maternal schools, Dilfuza Nazaralieva noted that almost all maternal schools in the region that were working steadily had held events called ‘Golden Autumn’. The children in the photo are kids of the maternal school ‘Rayana’. This maternal school is located in the village of Kolot in Akman rural district. 184 children are brought up here.

- “The preparatory group kids made different types of images from autumn view with the help of their teachers. Their fantasies were described here. The children told how did fruits and vegetables grow, how did the colors of trees change in autumn, what gifts did the autumn presents to humanity, and continued their stories with merry songs and dances. We celebrate this holiday every year. This time it was very different from previous ones. It is because of the children’s parents came to help celebrate the autumn holiday. We hold all the events together with the parents of our children,” says the head of the maternal school, Anara Ysakova.
