On October 27-28, 2018, at the invitation of the international organization Operation Mercy, experts on Self-Help Groups of Erayim Women's Public Union, Abdylas Koshumbaev and Elmira Sepishova, paid a working visit to the city of Almaty, Republic of Kazakhstan to conduct training on the theme ‘The Concept of Self-Help Group’ to employees and 20 members of the target groups of above-mentioned organization.

On the first day of the training, they gave the short information about WPU Erayim, after what Abdylas Koshumbaev tell the trainees about SHG concept by using an interactive teaching method of training and slideshow.

During the first day of training he described the social direction of the activities of the self-help groups which were organized and are working according to the project of WPU Erayim ‘The Introduction of a Combination of Traditional and Modern Approaches to Prevent Conflict in the South of Kyrgyzstan’ financed by German international organization Bread for the World.

Another expert Elmira Sepishova presented them a slideshow on the economic direction of SHGs activities on the example of 'Nazbiyke' SHG of Kok-Moinok village Zhumgal district which successfully ran production sparkling water ‘Emel’.

The next day of the training process was devoted to the drafting of the SHG Regulation, as well as the participants of the training were familiarized with the documentation. To the questions of the participants on organization and creation of SHG experts answered using their own experiences. And to the question of 'Operation Mercy' organization 'What do we need to create SHG?' they answered that the first thing they need is a good program and a special team to realize the program, and of course the funding. Organization ‘Operation Mercy’ has expressed its intention for future cooperation with WPU Erayim.
