On 11th of October in Mady village in the Kurmanjan Datka secondary school, No.86 the Day of Girls was celebrated by the active members of the following circles organized by the Women’s Public Union Erayim as ‘Leadership’ circle, ‘the English language’, ’the Russian language’, ‘Ethno ensemble’, ‘Forum-theatre’ and also by the members of children self-help groups.

Leader women of the village, teachers of the school, members of the self-help groups and children self-help groups created by the Women Public Union Erayim and the school children of the school took part in this activity.

The Day of Girls was celebrated solemnly. The organizers showed in cultural aspect the songs and dances and as social aspect scenes on the rights of the girls. At the end of the party it was organized a competition for the girls.

The aim of the celebration of the Day of Girls is to involve the attention of the society to the solution of the problems of the girls in our society and to protect their rights and to develop their chances, noted the organizers.
