Within the framework of the project supported by the German international organization Bread for the World (Brot für die Welt) of the women public union ‘Erayim’ entitled ‘The Introduction of a Combination of Traditional and Modern Approaches to Prevent Conflict in the South of Kyrgyzstan’, 37 pupils from secondary compulsory schools №16 named Abu Ali ibn Sina of Shark village, №86 named Kurmanjan Datka of Mady village and №117 named K. Matkerimova of Kyzyl-Kyshtak village of Kara-Suu district actively participate in the English language circles.

This year, the students who went in for the circle were able to deepen their knowledge of English through the books ‘Grammar Starter’ and ‘Grammar One’. To check their knowledge obtained over the course of 8 months at the circle on May 31, 2018, a competition was organized, entitled ‘Let's learn English’ at secondary school №16 named Abu Ali ibn Sina. 15 members of English circles from three schools, 3 teachers of English, members of ChSHG and SHG, parents and employees of WPU Erayim participated.

During the competition, all 15 participants passed the grammar test as the first task of the competition. The second task of the competition was to recite tongue twisters in English, the 3rd listening to the dialogue, the 4th a game on memorizing, the 5th describing a picture, the 6th reading and answering questions on the text.

1st place in the Beginners group of the competition was taken by a student of 9th grade of secondary school named after Hamza Hakimzoda of Shark village, Igmaberidieva Feruza, who went on a circle to the neighbour secondary school named Abu Ali Ibn Sina, 2nd place was taken by a pupil of the same school, Akhmadalieva Fatima. Ergeshova Aizirek a member of the DGSP ‘Dostuk’, a pupil of the secondary school № 86 named Kurmdzhan Datka, took 3rd place.

In the Starters group, 1st place was taken by Nishanova Aigul, who was a member of the ChSHG ‘Onuguu’ of school №117 named after K. Matkerimova. 2nd place was taken by Zharkynbay kyzy Aizhan, a pupil of the 6th grade of secondary school №86 named Kurmanjan Datka. Tursunova Mubina took 3rd place: she was is a member of the ChSHG ‘Kelechek’ and a pupil of secondary school № 16 named Abu Ali ibn Sina. All the winners were awarded diplomas and expensive gifts. This event was organized by the head of the English language circle Ilyosbek Ashuraliev.
