Activists of children's self-help groups ‘Ilim’, ‘Bilim’ and ‘Tartip’, consisting of school girls and boys of secondary schools named after Toktogul Satylganov and the boarding school named after Joomart Bokonbaev of Bazar-Korgon district went on an excursion to the city of Osh.

This tour was organized by the coordinator of the children's self-help groups of the WPU Erayim project ‘The Introduction of a Combination of Traditional and Modern Approaches to Prevent Conflict in the South of Kyrgyzstan’ in Jalal-Abad province, Maksat Pirmatov.

“In our work-plans we included children’s excursions in order to motivate them to love the motherland, nature and environment. The summer vacations give us chances to implement our travel plans. In summer we mainly organize small excursions for children. This time, very active members of three children's self-help groups visited Osh city. They visited the parks and avenues of the second capital of our homeland, Osh. They went to Mount Sulaiman, where the historical museum ‘Sulaiman Too’ is located. I think that this trip will be remembered in the memory of children for a long time. It should be noted that members of the circles working within the framework of the project such as the English language, the Russian language and the Theater Forum, also plan a trip. We still have a long summer and interesting trips ahead of us,” says Maksat Pirmatov.
