Participants of the 'Forum theatre' club organized in the Alym Usman secondary school No. 7 in Jalal-Abad city set a new scene directed towards the problems of the slave trade entitled ‘Destroyed Fate’ to students of senior grades and teachers of this school. The 'Forum theatre' club was organized within the framework of the WPU Erayim’s ‘The Introduction of a combination of Traditional and Modern Approaches to Prevent Conflict in the South of Kyrgyzstan’ project in three secondary schools of Jalal-Abad province. In each school the 'Forum theatre' club is attended by 11 students.
Recently, the law enforcement agencies have claimed that the facts of the slave trade are increasing every day and have noted that there is a need to work together with society to prevent this phenomenon. Turned into the actual problem of our time, these facts destroy the destinies of many young people. In the scene based on real facts, a girl named Farida, a 9th grade student, because of the family difficulties caused by the serious illness of her mother and brother, is looking for ways out will fall into the trap of her neighbor who worked abroad, and leaves school. A neighbor sells a young girl to slavery abroad. This girl is deprived of documents, after which she remains in a completely unfamiliar country without money and documents. The fate of a girl who cannot return to her homeland has not left spectators indifferent.
According to the requirements and rules of the Forum theater, the audience was looking for ways to solve the problem of the girl, each tried to offer his own version. They changed the role of the victim (protagonist) with the role of the oppressor (antagonist). There was a very interesting discussion, and a proposal to prevent such a situation.
The school director Mahidil Isakova and her teachers team thanked the students for their idea of showing such a problem in order to avoid such problems among young people. Coordinator for WPU Erayim Kishimzhan Boronbaeva, project coordinator Abdulaziz Orozaliev, psychologist of the project Zhyldyz Kaldarbekova, trainer of the project Vinera Babedinova also witnessed this event and expressed their opinions.
