The Kara-Suu district department of education approved a plan of events dedicated to the moral and cultural education of children in order to prevent child crime, racketeering, suicide and violence against children.

As part of the plan of activities in early March 2018 in the secondary school № 86 named after Kurmanzhan Datka an event was conducted to prevent child crime, child suicide, early marriage and fight against violence.

Representatives from the district education department, parents, representatives of the inspectorate for juveniles of the district department of internal affairs, representatives of religion, active citizens of the village, public organizations, school teachers and pupils of the senior classes took part in this event. The staff of the women’s public union Erayim in Osh province also participated this event. The project coordinator, SHG and CSHG coordinators, legal counselor, co-trainer-psychologist actively contributed to the organization of the event.

An interesting conversation took place about the behavior of school children, their education, and about the harm of the Internet games such as ‘Blue Whale’ and ‘Hello from Space’ and the eradication of school racketeering. The issue of strengthening the school's connection with parents, the need for close cooperation between the school and parents in the upbringing of children was discussed in the event. The members of the ‘Forum Theater’ club executed some scenes on the actual problems of society and children.

“The main goal of the event was to fight against violence, terrorism, religious extremism, early marriage, school racketeering,” – noted Gulsun Borubaeva the principal of the school, in her speech. At the end of the event, law enforcement officials explained that they would fine parents for finding their children on the street after 20-00 pm.
