In secondary schools №116 named after Abu Ali ibn Sina, № 86 named after Kurmanzhan Datka and №117 of K. Matkarimov of Shark, Mady and Kyzyl-Kyshtak villages in Kara-Suu district of Osh province, a number of events were dedicated to the birthday of the great writer Chyngyz Aitmatov under the title ‘Aitmatov is a Man of the Universe’.

Members of the ‘Leaders” club organized a gala evening, where reports were presented with new discoveries from the writ1er's works. There were performances with expressive readings from excerpts of his works. Songs written on the basis of his works were also performed by the head of the ethno-ensemble club Gulasal Aliyeva and the head of the forum-theater club Stalbek Mamatkulov. Members of the clubs put scenes from the works of the writer. An exhibition was organized of drawings of schoolchildren and members of children's self-help groups from the works of the great master. The purpose of this event was to better understand the work of such a great writer Ch. Aitmatov. The organizers of the events are convinced that acquaintance with the works of Ch. Aitmatov contributes to the proper development of children's consciousness.
