The children's rehabilitation centre ‘Bakyt’ in Jalal-Abad city has reopened its doors to the children from children self-help groups. It should be noted that some time ago more than 30 children of the CSHG had rested here and gained strength.

According to the chief doctor of the centre, this phenomenon has recently become systemic for the centre. Because the cooperation of the centre and the Women Public Union Erayim is getting stronger. An agreement has been drawn up between the WPU Erayim and the sanatorium ‘Bakyt’ for the treatment and recreation of children. Within the framework of the WPU Erayim’s ‘The Introduction of a Combination of Traditional and Modern Approaches to Prevent Conflict in the South of Kyrgyzstan’ project the children from the CSHGs organized in the secondary schools of the Chyngyz Aitmatov territorial unit of Jalal-Abad city, Bazar-Korgon and Akman village districts of Bazar-Korgon district in Jalal-Abad province, children from low-income families and children with poor health are still getting treatment and having rest in ‘Bakyt’ rehabilitation centre. This time the sanatorium accepted 28 children. Seven of them are girls. According to the project coordinator of CSHG, Maksat Pirmatov, recently the number of children with weak immunity has increased. Sanatorium ‘Bakyt’ helps such children to restore their health. There are all the appropriate conditions for relaxation and treatment. The head of the centre, doctors and medical staff are very kind and affectionate towards children. Along with treatment, children here find new friends, participate in different cultural events. “It is observed that during the ten days allocated for treatment, not only the physical health of children is strengthened, but also their spiritual and psychological state improves,” says Maksat Pirmatov. This time the children from the following self-help groups came for the treatment: ‘Ak-Ilbirs’, ‘Mega-Star’, ‘Beypildik’, ‘Kelechek’, ‘Keremet’, ‘Shamagailar’, ‘Shumkarlar’, ‘Dilgirler’ and ‘Kuch birdikte’. According to Maksat, such events will continue to take place. There are many children who wish to recover and relax.
