Members of the Ethno-Ensemble and Forum-Theater Clubs Visited the Osh State Academic Uzbek Music and Drama Theater named after Zahiriddin Muhammad Babur

28 members of Ethno-Ensemble and Forum-Theater clubs organized within the framework of the WPU Erayim’s ‘The Introduction of a Combination of Traditional and Modern Approaches to Prevent Conflict in the South of Kyrgyzstan’ project, financed by the international German Bread for the World (Brot für die Welt) organization in secondary schools No.16 named after Abu Ali ibn Sino, No. 86 named after Kurmanzhan Datka and No.117 named after K. Matkerimov in Shark, Mady and Kyzyl-Kyshtak village districts of Kara-Suu district in Osh province visited Osh State Academic Uzbek Music and Drama Theater named after Zahiriddin Muhammad Babur under a two-hour program to familiarize with masters of art and their contributions to the development of Kyrgyz art, as well as the history of this theater on October 17, 2017.
The guests of the event were warmly welcomed by the theater staff. The head of the club Gulasal Alieva told about history of the theater and its actors to the children. It should be noted that this year from November 10 to 20 at the London Theater Festival in front of English audiences, the Osh State Academic Uzbek Music and Drama Theater named after Zahiriddin Muhammad Babur will represent our country with the work of William Shakespeare "Richard III". The main role in this performance will be played by honored artist of the Kyrgyz Republic Alymkul Isakov. He told the children about his career, the difficulties of his profession, interesting stories, luck and acting. At the end of his talk he played an excerpt from his role in the play of the great Shakespeare "Richard III". This step, according to the participants of the club, is just the beginning of their next regular visits to the theater. The children received answers to the questions they were interested in and the meeting with artist was very interesting.
