The Members of the Association, 18 self-help groups organized in Shark, Mady and Kyzyl-Kyshtak rural districts of Kara-Suu region in Osh province within the framework of the WPU Erayim’s ‘The Introduction of a Combination of Traditional and Modern Approaches to Prevent Conflict in the South of Kyrgyzstan’ project, financed by the international German organization Bread for the World (Brot für die Welt) gathered on October 14, 2017 at the secondary school №16 named after Abu Ali ibn Sino in Shark district to discuss the issue of maintaining high quality records of SHG and in a single format.

The members of the SHGs have decided to conduct record keeping in 9 sections and in a single format. The heads and secretaries of the SHG were assigned the task of maintaining official protocols and decrees; accountants were to keep a ledger, books of registration, and an act of spending money and maintain agreements and contracts. The members of the SHG were responsible for maintaining the activity plan and monitoring, and groups that have received loans were to issue and maintain all documents relating to domestic and foreign loans clearly and accurately. The SHGs who initiated this event have allocated 5,400 soms from the general fund for the purchase of necessary stationery for record keeping and bags for storing documents.
