Within the framework of the project ‘The Introduction of a Combination of Traditional and Modern Approaches to Prevent Conflict in the South of Kyrgyzstan’ which is being realized by the Women’s Public Union Erayim and financed by international organization ‘Bread for the World (Brot für die Welt) an action entitled ‘Peace Action’ was organized by the children self-help groups formed in the secondary school of Toktogul Satylganov in Bazar-Korgon district.

The goal of this action was to support peace, friendship and consent in this world. At the end of the action the participants expressed their wishes. They wished for economic prosperity, accessible and good education, friendship among people of Kyrgyzstan. The main initiators of the action were ‘Ak Ilbirs’ and ‘Beypildik’ CSHGs. On this day the children organized an exhibition of their artistic work, such as things made with their own hands and drawings. And also they sang songs about peace, motherland, parents, school and friendship. They danced and were happy. Witnesses of this event were activists of WPU Erayim in Jalal-Abad province, teachers and students of the school.
