On September 30, 2017, an event entitled ‘Teacher is the Source of Creativity’ was organized in Osh Education Institute which was dedicated to the year 2017 which is the year of morality, upbringing and culture. The event also aimed at raising the culture of the population of Osh province, revive its history, support creative people, folk artists, songwriters and performers among teachers.

They live and work in rural areas, and also contribute to the enrichment of their creativity, to enhance the role of talented and creative teachers in society. The activists of WPU Erayim in Osh oblast provided their support by participating in the event. The best teachers of secondary schools of Kara-Suu region of Osh province took part in this event with their creative performances. It should be noted that talented and creative teachers, members of the self-help group ‘Umut’ showed very interesting performances. The ‘Umut’ SHG was established as part of the WPU Erayim’s project at the secondary school №86 named after Kurmanzhan Datka in Mady village of Kara-Suu region. The purpose of this event is to increase the population's interest in culture and art, to raise their spiritual wealth, preservation of the national heritage and traditions, its further development, and to praise the world and unity between peoples through culture.
