Within the framework of the project ‘The Introduction of a Combination of Traditional and Modern Approaches to Prevent Conflict in the South of Kyrgyzstan’ which is being realized by the Women’s Public Union Erayim and financed by international organization Bread for the World (Brot für die Welt), children self-help groups are working in the secondary schools of Shark, Mady and Kyzyl-Kyshtak rural districts in Kara-Suu region of Osh province. Children self-help groups organize various mass cultural events.

Recently, 9 CSHGs have launched a special initiative and organized the event ‘This Historic Museum is a Wide Road to the Future’ in national archeological and historical complex ‘Sulaiman-Too’ in Osh city. 65 members of CSHG attended this event, including 4 members from SHGs with disabilities. Within the framework of the event the museum staff prepared a special program for children. Under this program, the museum staff familiarized the members of the CSHGs with the museum's exhibits, informed about national, historical, archaeological items used in their ancestors' clothes and they conducted a concert and photo exhibition. At the end of the event, cordial words and wishes were expressed to the staff of WPU Erayim and the workers of the museum.
