Within the framework of the project ‘The Introduction of a Combination of Traditional and Modern Approaches to Prevent Conflict in the South of Kyrgyzstan’ which is being realized by the Women’s Public Union Erayim, an event was held dedicated to the Day of the State Language. It was organized by members of the leadership club in secondary schools № 16 named after Abu Ali ibn Sin, № 86 named after Kurmanzhan Datka and № 117 named after K. Matkerimov in Shark, Mady and Kyzyl-Kyshtak rural districts of the Kara-Suu region in Osh province. Members of children self-help groups of the above-mentioned schools were the participants of this event.

At this event, entitled ‘We Are a Nation with Our Own Native Language’ children showed their respect for the state language, glorified the greatness of their native language. They showed an expressive reading of poems about the history of the Kyrgyz, motherland, and native language. And also conversations were held by them everywhere: in kindergartens, schools, at home or in public places, they pointed out to speak the state language always correctly and clearly. WPU "Erayim" employees, representatives of local authorities, administration and teachers of secondary schools were the guests of this event. According to the teachers of the schools, every year ‘September 23 the Day of the State Language’ is accompanied by a similar kind of cultural events.
