Within the framework of the WPU Erayim’s ‘The Introduction of a Combination of Traditional and Modern Approaches to Prevent Conflict in the South of Kyrgyzstan’ project, a fairy tale named ‘Bektursun Fool’ was presented to children-pupils of the maternal schools formed in Shark, Mady and Kyzyl-Kyshtak village districts of Kara-Suu district.

The script of this fairy tale was prepared and presented by the ‘Theater Forum’ consisting of participants of the clubs organized in the framework of the project under the leadership of Stalbek Mamatkulov. This performance was aimed at raising children on the principles of honesty, justice, mutual assistance and friendship. Also, the members of the clubs organized games, performed songs and dances for maternal school pupils. The club directors and the staff of the maternal schools were grateful to the organizers of the puppet show and requested them to come more often with such performances and programs.
