The education department for the Kara-Suu region of Osh Province has approved a plan for various events throughout 2017, which was declared as the Year of Morality, Education and Culture, in order to pay more attention to the moral and cultural education of children and the prevention of crimes such as school racketeering and suicide.

In accordance with the plan of events, a round table entitled ‘Prevention of crimes among schoolchildren, school racketeering, violence and suicide’ was held in the Abu Ali Ibn Sina №16 School. Representatives from the district’s education department, parents, representatives from the district’s Department of Internal Affairs for Minors, religious figures, village activists, representatives of public organizations, teachers, and senior pupils took part in this event. WPU Erayim activists in Osh Province also joined this event. Pupils’ conduct at school and their academic progress, what measures should be taken to prevent school racketeering, violence, suicide, and the ‘Blue Whale’ and ‘Greetings from Space’ games were all discussed at the round table. We came to the conclusion that it is necessary to maintain a close connection between parents and the school for the upbringing and safety of children.
