Partnership of WPU “Erayim” with the program ASA of InWEnt GGmbH society continues

WPU “Erayim” has been cooperating with the German international program ASA of InWEnt gGmbH society for more than 10 years.
ASA is a training program on development policy with its headquarters in Germany. The program aims to support activity of young Europeans, who are fighting for a fair and sustainable development, who take into account human rights and the cultural differences.
ASA program is a part of list of programs of InWEnt GGmbH society and it is mainly financed by the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development. It is politically independent and non-profit program. ASA program enables 250 young people from Europe annually to take part in the professional development program in the field of help to developing countries policy. The professional development program consists of preparatory stage, a three-month internship in abroad and seminars on the analysis of performance. Interns during this time expand their knowledge about global interconnections, diversity and international development assistance.
This year WPU “Erayim” receives two volunteers from Germany Ekaterina Freidenberg and Jana Wille for three months. ASA volunteers will take part in the project named "Strengthening the participation in rural development and sustainable tourism".
The project aims to develop ecotourism and social entrepreneurship among Self-Help Groups of WPU “Erayim”. WPU “Erayim" together with ASA volunteers are going to develop a plan on ecotourism development and social entrepreneurship, to help the members of the SHGs who are engaged in business activities in the field of tourism and entrepreneurship.
The main components of the project will be spreading the concept of ecotourism and promotion of social entrepreneurship among the beneficiaries of WPU “Erayim”.
