The director of the kindergarten "Ak Jol" in Bishkek city and the head of the resource center "Maternal School" Dilnara Maygulakova have met with the staff of WPU “Erayim” in Osh city.

Last year, Dinara Maygulakova conducted a training seminar on the organization of the "maternal schools" on how to properly carry out its activities, goals and directions. Seminar participants and the WPU "Erayim" staff pointed out that there is a strong lack of childcare facilities in rural areas and they have undertaken the organization of "maternal schools". According to the coordinator of the SHGs in Osh province Narynkul Dyushenalieva: "Particular attention is paid to the children of migrants, who are left to the care of elderly parents or other relatives. In rural districts, there are many children who are in this kind of situation. Grandmothers and grandfathers cannot pay enough attention to the preparation of children to primary schools. Therefore, the "Maternal schools are unique places in preparation for primary school," - she said. WPU "Erayim" Chairman Rakhila Zhusupova got familiarized herself with the work of the already established "Maternal schools".
