Events are being conducted on narrating the “Manas” dedicated to the year of "History and Culture" throughout the country. “Manas” epos is an inexhaustible source of culture and history of the people of Kyrgyzstan.

Activists of WPU “Erayim” in Osh province did not stand aside this time as well; especially the members of SHG were very active. According to Erlan Davlatov an expert on public relations of WPU “Erayim”, the event on narrating the “Manas” was organized by the members of CSHGs of Shark, Mady, Kyzyl-Kyshtak villages of Kara-Suu region in Osh province. Talented children- “Manas” narrators gathered in the culture house of the village and narrated all versions of Manas according to their own styles of narrating and surprised the adults. Through this epos they showed their love for their homeland. It is necessary to note that, the children of other nationalities narrated the "Manas" as well.

Baktekan Azhymamatova
