On 30 March this year, a small sports competition, ‘Friendship’, aimed at preventing crime among young people, was held at secondary school No. 16, named after Abu Ali ibn Sino, located in Shark village of Kara-Suu district.

Kiyal Mamazhanova, the project coordinator for children's self-help groups (ChSHG), reported this.

The event was organized by the Women's Public Union Erayim of Osh Oblast staff and the Association of SHGs Shark. Children's self-help groups "Dostuk" and "Yiman-Nuru 1" formed in the mentioned school participated in this competition. This sports event was fun and reflected the spirit of camaraderie, friendship, and unity among the children.

The sports competition aims to strengthen harmony among youth and students, prevent offences, and attract youth to sports.

According to the competition results, Dostuk ChSHG won first place, and Yiman-Nuru 1 ChSHG took second. The Association of SHGs Shark allocated 7 thousand soms from internal savings and presented T-shirts and other gifts to the children.
