In the period from September 7 to 9, 2022, a training on the topic of “Social Entrepreneurship” was held for members of the SHG Associations, employees of maternal schools, as well as representatives of local authorities in the Kara-Suu district.

It was held by a volunteer of the German ASA Program Evelin Meister and trainers of the WPU Eraiym Abdylas Koshumbaev and Altynai Sabyrbekova.

During the training, participants received detailed information about social entrepreneurship, and also analyzed the difference between social entrepreneurship and traditional business, as well as charitable organizations. Trainers gave examples of social entrepreneurship in developed countries, including Kyrgyzstan. In the second part of the training course, participants analyzed social and environmental issues in their community and developed ideas for social entrepreneurship. The training was interesting and inspired the participants on the social side of entrepreneurship.
