Aziz Orozaliev, the project coordinator of Children Self-Help Groups in Jalal-Abad oblast, conducted computer literacy classes for educators of Maternal Schools as part of the project ‘The Introduction of a Combination of Modern and Traditional Approaches to Prevent the Conflict in the South of Kyrgyzstan’.
Young educators from all maternal schools participating in the project attended the classes. ‘In the modern world of technology and in the age of globalization, every citizen needs to be computer literate. In addition, in the digital environment, any work is done using a computer. Possession of computer skills is necessary for the preparation of curriculum and lesson plans for the upbringing and education of children. That is why we organized a special training course for maternal school educators. The students in my classes have mastered a number of computer skills. This will greatly contribute to their further work, - noted Aziz Orozaliev.
Project activists also noted that the computer literacy classes will be organized on a regular basis.
