On March 4, 2022, in Kara-Suu district, Associations of self-help groups ‘Shark’, ‘Kurmanzhan Datka’, and ‘Kerme-Too’ held “Information Exhibition – 2022’.

The event was organized within the framework of the WPU Erayim project ‘The Introduction of a Combination of Modern and Traditional Approaches to Prevent the Conflict in the South of Kyrgyzstan’. The Associations of self-help groups told their newly formed self-help groups in Nariman, Sarai and Toloiken municipalities and stakeholders about the implementation of proposals included in the development plans of Mady, Shark and Kyzyl-Kyshtak municipalities in 2020.

The event was held for three days at school No. 16 named after Abu Ali ibn Sino Shark municipality.

We remind you that 2 out of 3 proposals included in the development plan of Shark municipality, 2 out of 3 proposals in Mady municipality, and 1 out of 3 proposals in Kyzyl-Kyshtak municipality were implemented, Kerme-Too SHGA is actively working on the implementation of two other proposals.

SHGAs are working closely with local authorities to implement their proposals. We plan to hold an information exhibition in other municipalities after implementation of all 9 proposals,’- noted Ikram Israilov, project coordinator in Osh oblast.
