On March 6-9 this year, Shark, Kurmanzhan Datka, and Kerme-Too Self-Help Group Associations held an online meeting with Abdylas Koshumbaev, an expert on Self-Help Groups of WPU Erayim in Bishkek.

In the meeting, they discussed the priorities of SHGs and SHG Associations, the needs of target groups, annual calendar plan of their activities in 5 directions and made adjustments to them.

The main purpose of the online meeting was the joint development of the annual work plan of the SHG Associations.

During the meeting, SHG and SHGA identified priority issues in the project area. As a result, proposals were made to install road signs in Mady village, increase the inflow of freshwater, develop small businesses and organize periodic useful training courses. In Ishkavan village Kyzyl-Kyshtak municipality build sidewalks, block the banks of the Big Canal, and increases the internal savings of groups. In Shark village repair secondary school No. 16 named after Abu Ali ibn Sino, improve the quality of medical services, expand greenhouse business, open sewing workshops.

They supported holding online meetings once or twice a month with the participation of the SHG coordinator and SHG expert, as well as the organization of events for the exchange of experiences.
