Akyikat and Asylzat SHGs together with the deputies of the village council appealed to the Bazar-Korgon district state administration and the management of the LLC Unaa Trans. They asked them to visit the villages of Akman municipality.

This is due to the fact that until now there were no public buses in these villages, and residents moved in private cars with a chaotic schedule. Previously, the fare was 20 soms, which was not a problem for residents. Now the price of petrol has risen, so fare on Akman-Bazar-Korgon route raised too. It became 40 soms. The cost of a round trip is 80 soms. This is not cheap for the villagers, because there is unemployment in the village. Ordinary people experiencing financial difficulties are unhappy with the rise in prices. It is especially difficult for those who every day go to work to Bazar-Korgon, and for those who send their children to schools and kindergartens to district centre to give a better education for them. The active members of the Association of SHGs listened to the problems of the people, realized the seriousness of this issue, and had repeatedly raised this issue before the relevant sectors and leaders. Thus, the long-awaited problem was solved, and in September a regular route was launched to Zharake, Kosh-Korgon, Kolot, Kaiyrma villages of Akman municipality. The fare is 20 soms. By the way, the women’s initiative was also supported by the deputies of the village council.
