As part of the project activities from November 2020 to March this year, about 100 people in the rural districts of Toloiken, Mady, Shark, Kyzyl-Kyshtak, Saray, Nariman of the Kara-Suu district in Osh province were informed about mediation and mediation services.

It should be noted that mediators Dilfuza Anarbaeva, Dilshod Kadirkhodzhaev, Kamila Ermekbaeva, who were trained as part of a project to promote mediation in 6 rural districts, provide information to many citizens about mediation and help to peacefully resolve unresolved land disputes and family problems of beneficiaries.

Among the beneficiaries of K.T. a resident of the Shark rural district heard about the mediation approach as a peaceful settlement of disputes from the coordinator of the SHG project Narynkul Duysenalieva. She decided to turn to mediators for help, she did not have enough money to turn to a private lawyer or to the court regarding the allocation of her share of the land plot with an area of 0.18 hectares in the village of Japalak.

To help solve this problem, local mediators for 6 months negotiated with K.T.'s mother-in-law to resolve the issue peacefully, using the method of mediation, taking into account the interests of both parties.

As a result, the problem was solved, and K.T. made peace with her mother-in-law, regained her share of the land and expressed her gratitude to the mediators.
