The Shark SHG Association was organized in the Kara-Suu district within the framework of the project 'The Introduction of a Combination of Traditional and Modern Approaches to Prevent the Conflict in the South of Kyrgyzstan’ supported by the German international organization Bread for the World (Brot für die Welt). Members of the new SHGs 'Sakhovat' and 'Birimdik' in the village of Nariman took part in the celebration of the 580th anniversary of Alisher Navoiy, which took place on February 19 in Osh.

The celebration took place at secondary school Abu Ali ibn Sino, No.16 where members of the ChSHG read poems by Alisher Navoiy dedicated to peace and friendship. Then the event, organized by the Department of Culture of the Mayor's Office of Osh, was held in the Alisher Navoiy Park and in the Babur Theater. During the event, the participants learned about the exemplary life, career and work of Alisher Navoiy, listened to his works and songs. ChSHG members expressed their desire to become such an exemplary person in the future as Alisher Novoiy. At the end of the event, the participants laid a wreath at the monument to Alisher Navoiy.
