In connection with the current situation in our country related to the pandemic, along with schools, preschool institutions also work remotely according to their possibilities.
Within the framework of the WPU Erayim project ‘The Introduction of a Combination of Traditional and Modern Approaches to Prevent the Conflict in the South of Kyrgyzstan’ 3 maternal schools out of 20 maternal schools in the project area and 5 maternal schools opened with the influence of the project in neighbouring villages, started their work, as well as 14 maternal schools, continue their work remotely.
Maternal schools “Rosa Nuru”, “Raduga”, “Bilim Nuru” again accept more than 100 children. To ensure the safety of children from COVID-19, members of the Shark Association of Self-Help Groups raised the initiative and purchased materials for masks and antiseptics for 1,800 soms. They sewed 100 reusable masks at home with their own hands and handed them over to maternal schools. In addition, the project psychologist Dilfuza Anarbaeva organized an interesting training for the children of maternal schools called ‘Journey to the World of Wishes’, where young children told their wishes, freely communicated with their peers. They participated in the training in a good mood,’ says the coordinator for maternal schools in Osh oblast Gulkayir Zholdubaeva.
