Due to the current situation in the country connected to COVID-19 pandemic, the staff of WPU Erayim in the Jalal-Abad oblast began to work remotely using the ZOOM program. Due to quarantine, they began to work without leaving their home with possible means of communication. The regular project team meeting was held remotely to discuss the implemented work and coming planned activities using the popular ZOOM program.

The project coordinator for Jalal-Abad oblast Maksat Pirmatov led the meeting and provided detailed information on the work done as part of the project during the COVID-19 pandemic. He talked about targeted aid provided for socially vulnerable families within the framework of the project “The Introduction of a Combination of Traditional and Modern Approaches to Prevent the Conflict in the South of Kyrgyzstan” supported by German international organization Bread for the World (Brot für die Welt) and by the British Erayim Aid Trust UK charity organization during the difficult times. Also, the project coordinator for SHG Kishimzhan Boronbaeva, the coordinator of the project for maternal schools Dilfuza Nazaralieva, the psychologist of the project Zhyldyz Kaldarbekova, the lawyer of the project Gulnara Tashieva, the coordinator of the project for CSHG Aziz Orozaliev, were provided information about the remotely done work on the project.
