Poets and Writers Glorified Friendship

The World Writers Day is celebrated annually on March 3 since 1986. On this day an event entitled ‘Poets and Writers Glorified Friendship’ was organized in Ishkavan village of Kara-Suu district. The event was organized by the Association SHGs Kerme-Too. The event was attended by famous poets and writers, members of SHGs and CSHGs.
The main goal of the event is to strengthen interethnic coexistence and friendship, as well as the motivation of young talents starting their creative path to creativity. As a special guest of the event, associate professor of Osh State University, poet and writer Satkanbai Momunaliev. He made a speech and spoke about the work done in the field of strengthening friendship between Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan. Satkanbai Momunaliev also assisted in the publishing of textbooks for Kyrgyz schools in the neighbouring Republic of Uzbekistan and is constantly collaborating in the scientific field with Uzbek scientists, strengthening bilateral friendly relations. The chairman of the Osh branch of the National Union of Writers of the Kyrgyz Republic, the famous poet Turabay Zhoroev read his poems about friendship, harmony and unity. Besides, the poems of the poet Arzykan Zhabiev also did not leave the participants indifferent. Among the young generation of poets were the poet Bermet Zakirova and the editor of the newspaper Osh Sadosi Sahib Shakirova. In turn, they also talked about creative successes and had interesting discussions with the participants of the event.
The head of the Ethnoensemble club of the WPU Erayim's project “Introduction of a Combination of Traditional and Modern Approaches to Prevent the Conflict in the South of Kyrgyzstan”, Gulasal Aliyeva and the club participants presented a concert program for guests where Kyrgyz, Russian, Uzbek and Tajik musical works were performed. At the end of the event, guests were presented with gifts.
