A new maternal school named ‘Zhypara’ was opened in Bazar-Korgon district as part of the ongoing project ‘The Introduction of a Combination of Traditional and Modern Approaches to Prevent the Conflict in the South of Kyrgyzstan’ implemented by Women's Public Union Erayim.

Nurgul Nuralieva renovated her mother-in-law's house, provided it with the necessary equipment, opened a maternal school for 120 kids. The fellow villagers also helped as much as they could. According to Dilfuza Nazaralieva, project coordinator for maternal schools, Nurgul Nuralieva, who is opening the new pre-school institute, maintained close contact with the ‘Erayim’ district office and regularly participated in training courses together with the heads of maternal schools and educators. When the Government of the country is unable to help children in rural areas fully get preschool education, she set this goal for herself and the goal was achieved.

Representatives of the district administration and the district education department came to the opening ceremony, got acquainted with all conditions, and presented gifts. They will now provide support in terms of staffing, salary and some other issues.
