Among the maternal schools of Bazar-Korgon district, organized within the framework of the WPU Erayim project ‘The Introduction of a Combination of Traditional and Modern Approaches to Prevent the Conflict in the South of Kyrgyzstan’ an online competition was organized taking into account the situation with the pandemic.

Before the educators of 20 maternal schools participating in the competition, the requirement was set to make from out of use but environmentally friendly things, various handicrafts for visual aids. In the competition participants used fabrics, felt, paper, seeds and household items that are out of use. They put up for the competition all the visual aids made with their own hands from unnecessary household waste, environmentally friendly materials, tissue remnants, and which have already been used in online lessons throughout the summer.

According to the project coordinator for maternal schools Dilfuza Nazaralieva, educators from 11 maternal schools participating in this competition took an active part and sent their hand-made things one after one. One was more beautiful than the second, the second was more delightful than the third, at the same time they were to the taste of children, characters in children's fairy tales, it was very difficult to choose the best. We thought for a long time not knowing to whom to assign the first place. In the end, we decided to find everyone as winners and helped out gifts. The competition ended with an exhibition, active participants were given gifts, - she said.

But nevertheless, it was noticeable that the works of the educators of the maternal schools ‘Nazik’, ‘Rayana’, ‘Nagima’, ‘Burul Ene’, ‘Perishte’ were superior. This exhibition created a good environment for the exchange of experiences because the educators learned from each other how to do this or that beautiful thing. They said that they would replenish their visual aids with new beautiful things. It should be noted that trainings and seminars are often held for employees of maternal schools by Erayim organization, at which the project coordinator Dilnara Maigulakova gives theoretical knowledge, and then the participants strengthen the gained knowledge in practical classes. We can say that the handicrafts put up for the competition were the result of the trainings, which the participants of the competition themselves confirmed it.
