Radio is considered a powerful communication tool that disseminates information about the problems, achievements, activities of mankind. At the global level, radio remains a means of widespread dissemination of information. February 13, 1946, was broadcast for the first time "UN Radio".

World Radio Day is celebrated annually on February 13, starting in 2012, by the decision of the General Conference of UNESCO. In January 2013, the UN General Assembly formally approved the proclamation of the Day and adopted a resolution during the 67th session, proclaiming February 13 as World Radio Day. The main goal of Radio Day is to raise public and media awareness of the importance of radio. And also support them for development, and provide access to information, and strengthen ties and international cooperation between broadcasting companies. On this day, the young talents of the Dostuk school radio and the purposeful, creative children of children's self-help groups created and working in Shark, Mady and Kyzyl-Kyshtak rural districts of Kara-Suu district, as part of a project implemented by the Women's Public Union Erayim with the support of the German international organization Bread for the World ‘Introduction of a Combination of Traditional and Modern Approaches to Prevent the Conflict in the South of Kyrgyzstan’ was visited by the 'Yntymak' Public Regional TV and Radio Company located in the city of Osh.

At the event, 20 of the talented young children who work in the Dostuk school radio got acquainted with the work of the 'Yntymak' Public Regional TV and Radio Company, and meetings were organized with experienced television and radio workers. During the two-hour program, they saw the work of broadcasting and received useful information for themselves. The most interesting thing for children was the use of radio technology and how they went on the air themselves, everyone was very happy.

The purpose of this meeting was to support and facilitate the activities of young leaders and presenters of the Dostuk school radio located in secondary schools Abu Ali ibn Sina, No. 16, Kurmanzhan Datka, No. 86 and K. Matkerimov, No.117. This became the motivation for choosing a future profession for talented young children, especially for those who would like to go in this direction.
